KINDERGARTEN
Language Arts: Begin letter "Uu".
Math:Addition.
Content: Animals.
Needs From Parents: Snacks beginning with Uu" or any snack.


EARLY PRIMARY
Language Arts:Short vowels and commands.
Math:Doubles and place value.
Content: Goods and services, wants and needs.


LATE PRIMARY
Language Arts: Summary writing. Cause and effect.
Math: Adding and subtracting decimals.
Content: Mini-Society.


INTERMEDIATE
Language Arts:Summarize and respond to text. Identify the author's purpose. Persuasive writing - letter to the editor.
Math:Problem solving - graphing ordered pairs.
Content:Science: Read and interpret data from charts, tables and graphs. Social Studies: Classify types of governments. Mini investigation into Civil War.


ART
Early Primary: Students will be starting a unit of "Descriptive Drawings".
Late Primary & Intermediate: Students will be starting a unit on posters. The final project will be a poster for their business in the mini societies.


MUSIC
Early Primary: Students will be dancing and singing "Oats & Beans & Garley Grow".
Late Primary: Students will be singing and composing verses to the "Alpine Song".BR> Intermediate: Students will continue to sing songs of seas.


P.E.
Early Primary & Late Primary: Introduce floor hockey skills.
Intermediate: Set-up floor hockey teams, pick team jobs, skills and drills.
