Pink Palace Fife and Drum Corp.

(snipped from an e-mail missive)
Milady,
I assure you that there is indeed a Pink Palace fife and drum corp. I am one of it's founding members.
Our first performance was at Gulf Wars III, at the pink palace party, Other members included at that time were, Sonata Lightfoot (fife and flute), Uther von Ziemer (doumbek and incidental percussion) and myself on guitar and drum. Present at that perfomance were Duke sir Kane Redfeather, Duke sir John the Bearkiller and about three hundred other gentles in various stages of memory lapse casusing behavior, but I am told that we gave a good performance.
Other performances have been held at verious gulf war's and border raids (we sang the "I like coffee song" a couple of years ago).
We don't make a big deal about the name, because we have not actually gotten permission from Mom and Dad, and our membership fluctuates due the the erratic nature of our society.
Arlaine simply asked me if he could have a title. I made him assistant librarian, dropped off copies of my lyric files at his house, and told him that if he lost them I would kick his (mule) from here to drachenwald.
Perhaps I was flippant in giving him the title, but it is real, and he is part of a real organization.
