You Herald Truth, Quester's Riddle, and Before Rainbows
------------------------------
You Herald Truth
(by Sandra Pancoast)
You are the one whose shadow crossed the path of the moon,
your fire crossed the sun and burns the stars' inferno,
your wind extinguished a thousand candles profaning truth,
and replaced them with effulgent, radiant, brilliant glow.

Quester's Riddle
(by Sandra Pancoast)
Backwards reads the ember glow,
ebon falls the ashen snow,
while round about the rivers flow,
and those within the webbed world know,
'tis but for silent eyes and ears to show,
for wound about the flowers slow,
come the winds which blast and blow,
and green the emerald mosses grow,
and reeds beckoned by the undertow,
rim the shores by which ye row.

Before Rainbows
(by Sandra Pancoast)
And the heart breaks,
the clouds render rain,
the puddles form lakes,
and the floods come again,
the puddles form lakes,
the clouds render rain,
and the heart breaks,
the floods come again.
