If A Perfect World
Maybe I ask too much
when I say see both sides
perhaps it would be more preferable
we not worry with where one resides
People are people and will be
the way they are no matter
until they are ready for change
no reason to bruise or batter
anyone for viewing this life
the way they do or don't
it's the necessary evil of it all
to live in a "same" world, I won't
It would be quite boring, you see
to have everyone think like me
to speak the words I would speak
strong as me the same time, same time as me, weak
If it were a perfect world, would
we be able to stand it-
if we were all the same as the other
all the same as our brother?
If we were, I think we'd have shit-canned it
a long time ago.
