Logic & Emotion
I've been known to have an evil mind
and a forgiving, loving heart
depending on what mood I'm in
chances which one takes the part.
Either darts will be thrown
or peace will be at lend
either you will remain my enemy
or you will be a friend.
If I'm thinking, then
you'll not get too near
if I'm feeling again
open arms calling 'come here'.
The difference between heart and mind
it can only be accepted
not changed except in slight
emotion is often infected
by not thinking
as logic is pushed to the side
and logic is also used too often
frightening the feelings to hide.
So is there a happy medium?
Equal parts of think and feel?
Make a difference to change the difference?
Would it make the wounds quicker to heal?
