Today, I caught inspiration
angry at the world
opened up my door
and unto it, my heart, unfurled

uninhabited, I guess
for high-voltage
everyone had enough of the shock
by its design it ran off
everyone thinking it's all a crock

I will stay and just be angry
I'm strong enough to handle the volts
others run, tossing things up, screaming
too aware of reality's jolts

but today, I caught inspiration!
