Unexpected Endings
Well, I suppose life is all about unexpected endings
it's just the way it comes out
is there any way to plan it all
to know for sure? I doubt.
And I suppose it's that way with beginnings too
never know what's in store for today
who reads their horoscope to find out what?
Do we like surprises? No way.
Well, I suppose it's okay.
Guess we can roll with the punches.
Really no other way
just to rely on hunches
and gather facts as they emerge
then take the turn based on the conclusion
of what we think is best
though it's almost certain that we'll never rest
as unexpected endings cause confusion.
