The Educated Nigger

He'll look into the history books
and to the dictionary just to justify
every word he'll write~
talking down on his fellow man
because he's already been through life
I call him nigger and his skin is white.

Nothing but an old prude
thinking he knows what it's about
he puts himself in the middle of the pack~
making himself look educated there
with the help of the literatures
I say a nigger's skin isn't always black.

He'll seem to come from Harvard
educational institution and beyond
turning his nose up in the light~
pretends to have his values straight
coming down on others who look like night
he's an educated nigger
and his skin is white.
