| Crossroads
You called me up in the middle of the night to let me know what was going on
life is fixing to change again and you want to say you're strong
but you don't want to change at all and break my little girl's heart
to make her leave her mother and tear everyone's lives apart-
a better world financially speaking if you moved there with your wife
but giving up so much you've built here, a whole new way, a change of life
You asked me if I knew what crossroads are, I'm here whatever you decide to do
it will all work out eventually, exactly the way God meant for it to-
yeah, I've been to crossroads; some directions I chose, some already chosen
some took me into summer sun, some left me in winter frozen,
...but I'm alive and so are you
I know you are in pain too
for crossroads there we always knew
life changes we must go through.
