You Don't See Me
when I'm driving blindly
blurred by the tears I cry
when the radio plays that one song
that makes me want to die
when I'm thinking of you
and how unfair it's been
having life these days
and no time to spend
when I'm missing you so
driving in the rain
the road goes different ways
but they all lead to pain
because you don't see me.
You don't see me
when I'm angry at the night
when I lay in bed chained
to the fair and the right
when you laugh and play the game
broken and breaking me
things aren't well at all
and this injustice is taking me
off the beaten path
to find another way to free me
I cannot run these same old roads
knowing you don't see me.
