Could you give it unconditionally?
Unwanting of anything but love in return?
If you could paint it, what image would it be?
What colors would you use
to describe the way you feel?
I would paint you purple
with streaks of gold and teal.
How does love look to you
through your ice crystal blues?
Do you separate your waves of light
or do you conglomerate your hues?
When I look, I wonder if you may possess
all 256 colors to make it white-
or none of them to make it black
nowhere in the middle to happiness
coloring me in dark or light.
