I'll Make It Home

with a salt-water aquarium in the wall
I could sit and watch the sea-
stereo speakers through each room
a playroom with a big screen TV

a pool table and a pinball machine
the biggest fastest computer made-
a sunroom with a whirlpool spa
overlooking a creek, oak tree for shade

an island kitchen with a canopied bar
a fireplace, bear rug, and rocking chair-
a king-size featherbed up in the loft
bay windows so I can let in fresh air

a piano for the sitting room
where books adorn the shelves divided
with plants and statues, a cappuchino maker
a room to go and just sit undecided

a deck in the back, patio furniture
a porch swing and a bar-b-que pit-
but the most important of all of it...

plenty of yarn made of love to knit

(and this is how I'll make it home)
