Lesson Plans

ESSON PLANS GUIDE TEACHERS THROUGH THE CURRICULUM. They should reflect the goals and benchmarks in students' IEPs. Lesson plans are important because they keep teachers on task and if the teacher is ever absent, the substitue knows what to do with the students.

Why reinvent the wheel? Fun, innovative lesson plans and materials can be found at several sites. Use them as is, or modify them to match your group size or instructional level.

Any of the plans below are a part of the starting point. You know what you have to teach from your state or district standards. You know your students' learning styles and can adapt from there. Unwrap your standards, look for lesson plans here and then make adaptions for your students. Have fun with lesson planning!
