The Creation of the Heavens

In the beginning, God (through Jesus) created the Heaven. That Heaven was third Heaven where God lives, and it consisted of a geat multitude of angelic beings (2 Cor 12.1-4). When He created second Heaven, that consisted of Adam, and later Eve. When He created first Heaven, that consisted of Adam, Eve, and their children.

There was no need for first Heaven until Adam was driven out of the Garden. Then God put it into the hearts of men to call upon Him, and thereby enter into a first Heaven condition. Abel was in first Heaven when he called on God. The way back to God is through first Heaven first, then second Heaven, and finally third Heaven.

In type, this shows the progression from conversion to the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and then on to an overcoming life that leads to perfection. When we become perfect, we will move out of this earthly tabernacle into a "house not made with hands, eternal in the Heavens" (2 Cor. 5:.1). There to reign with Jesus forever.
