The Creation of Jesus and the Heavenly Host

The beginning of all creation was Jesus Christ who was created by God the Father. (Rev. 3.14; 1.8; 8.22-26) God the Father never created anything else directly. He gave the work of creation to Jesus his son, and through him created all things that were created. (Eph. 3.9-10) (John 1.1-3) (Col. 1.16)

While Jesus was creating the world, he was in his pre-existent state as far as dwelling here on earth is concerned. He was created of spiritual substance, of flesh and bone. All the angels are also made of flesh and bone, but not flesh and blood. Jesus and the angels were both created of immortal flesh, and both can be seen and touched.

Proverbs 8.22 says, "the Lord possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old." This shows that Jesus was with his father before they ever turned their attention toward the deep or the Earth. (Prov. 8.27) This is why Jesus could say in John 17:5, "and now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was."

From the begining Jesus spoke the words of God the Father, and was actually the voice of God. The voice that said, "Let there be light," was God speaking through Jesus. God spoke everything into existence through Jesus and for Jesus. (John 1.3) Even while Jesus was here on Earth, He did not speak His own words, but His Father's. (John 14.24) 1
