The square and compasses having a diamond set in its apex from which is suspended a gavel surrounding a setting sun is the emblem of a Past Grand Master. He has served at least one full year as Grand Master. This gold jewel suspended from a blue ribbon with gold trim and is pendant from a jacket pocket.
