Past 1999-2000 Events
Our Spring meeting was held on April 26th. A delicious potluck dinner was followed by a presentation by the newly appointed Dean Grasso, of the Smith College Engineering Department.
This year's winter meeting was held in February. Our speaker was Joanne Handy, President of the Visiting Nurses Association of Boston. Joanne has lead the development of community-based elder services and is President-Elect of the American Society of Aging.
October saw our Fall Meeting, held at the home of Helen Brooks, Class of '39. Thanks to such a gracious host, and many thanks to Jan Goldman, '73 who discussed her recent public art installation at Logan Airport, complete with a slideshow of her beautiful acquatic works set in terrazzo.
