Here's a shot of the front doors. They are a combination of different types of glass.
Looking into the dining room from the living room. The blinds on the window are wood ones with two-inch slats. The chair at the lower right part of the picture is one of the dining chairs. We finished dinner a few hours ago, so I moved the chair. I'd like to repaint the walls in a cappuccino color, which would make the trim "pop" out.
Here's the grandfather clock we bought about 16 years ago. The little rocking chair was a gift from my grandmother when I was 4 years old. We might put the Christmas tree in that corner. The room to the left is the breakfast nook with the family room behind it.
The love seats usually face each other and run parallel to the picture wall. I moved the furniture for Christmas, and I think I like it this way better. Normally, the rug is under the dining table, but I might keep it here for a while. I think it really adds something to the room.
The French doors in the middle open all the way so that there is an unobstructed opening to the patio area.
