1. In the HM English book, students will complete Unit 2 Lesson 1 regarding sentences.  Students will work as a class on the guided section and individually on the independent section.  Students will complete the writing activity at the end of the lesson.

2. Students will listen attentively as the teacher reads “Clifford’s Sports Day.”  Immediately after reading, students will draw a picture from the story.  Students will write, in a complete sentence, the main idea of the story at the bottom of the page.

3. Students will participate in placing medals on a pictograph to keep track of how many medals the United States has won in the Olympic Games.

4. Students will complete their seat work as follows: Daily Oral Language, Problem of the Day, and “Where?” worksheet.

            Tuesday

1. In the HM English book, students will complete Unit 2 Lesson 2 regarding the naming part of a sentence.  Students will work as a class on the guided section and individually on the independent section.  Students will complete the writing activity at the end of the lesson.
