Wow. Been a while since I updated this thing. I use iblaine.geo as my email address every day but this webpage hardly gets touched. Yahoo has added some new stats that tell me what people are searching for when they find this site - "building wood propellers" and "san francisco booze trolley ride" come up often...go figure. The 3rd Annual Booze Cruise is happening again this 4th of july. By now everyone should know the routine. Give us a call to make a reservation in advance, bring sunglasses, a healthy liver, a camera and $40. The hovercraft is now out of my hands and into the hands of some friends. Building it was fun but maintenance was a chore. Last I heard it was taken down to Mexico. The Parks Rangers here are probably happy knowing that the hovercraft no longer terrorizes the peaceful beaches of Santa Barbara. That's it for now - work is coming along well. I'm now very removed from engineering and well into analyzing financials. My new role is Business Intellegence Analyst. The idea is this. There's such a thing as fact finders for newspapers - their job is to dig through historical information. That's the same thing I do only instead of looking at historical events I look through millions of transactions related to advertising or sales then deliver those answers to people in marketing, sales, or client development, etc. Anywho. I will try to add some pictures and such to the page soon. This summers goal is make it to Night Moves on a regular basis. It's a club of people that get together each thursday at the beach, swim 1K, run 5K then cap it off with a beer garden, dinner, beer garden, music, and a beer garden. Sounds fun. Cya.
