PART I
Amid the sands
Which skirt the Nile
The angel Ashtoreth
Awaits the Dawn
To shine Her Light
This Light the Earth calls Breath
Behind Her blaze
This errant Star
Twice hid by Law and Veil
Burns Ain Soph Aur
The Endless Sky
Whose touch would never heal
With vanity
In Lethe deep
The foolish Typhon prays
To deafened ears
Of L.V.X.
And dies a hundred days
The desert Wind
Rolls clean and pure
Through Erebus and Nyx
'Till Typhon breathes
A mourning gasp
Which damns the River Styx

PART II
In winter rune
Beneath blue moon
The Stars align in three
The absent Sun
The distant One
By will too far to see
As if by rhyme
In space and time
Behemoth comes and then
With Delphic chants
And Shiva's dance
An invocation ends
Sweet ancient song
Of Babylon
Sung 'neath the pyramid
Which echoes to
The Fallen God
Who deep in Hades hid
The song flows warm
And with a wish
Ignites a dimming spark
The Evening Star
Not mythic light
Now penetrates the dark
