Due to the nature of some of the content within this site, I feel the responsibility of explaining some of my personal views. Also, on necessary occassions, I will attempt to address issues tangental to the purpose of this site.
There are terms and words I use throughout, which may not accurately express my ideas. Some of this is due to the inability of the English language (or, simply, my use of it) to adequately connect the fields of theology, mythology, philosophy, and psychology. Another reason is the exclusion of memetic terms propagated by sections of society. I intend to use phraseology which would be considered standard English. For example, my use of the word "Demoness" in no way indicates the way I see Lilith, yet, through most of history, She has been called such. I use the term as common ground from which I can explain certain - hopefully, original - thoughts. This is neither a course in semantics nor a forum for the discussion of it.
Lilith has become a symbol of feminism, so I think I should speak on this before I get misclassified. I haven't looked into feminist action enough to take a detailed position, so I must say that I'm not a feminist. I accept many of the forward thinking ideas produced by women world wide, I staunchly support the universal equality of the sexes, but I do not support a shift from a patriarchal system to a matriarchal system. I have looked into the repression which our societies have used to subjugate everything female. Ending this millenia old imbalance will greatly improve our success as a civilization and as a species. I don't think creating a new imbalance is the answer.
