Mission to Romania:
September, 1998

Regio Rumaniahilfe (European Baptist Fellowship)

3 nations, one purpose

This is a record of the 1998 trip by which God revolutionized my relationship with Him and drew me nearer to Himself. All my life I'd had trouble reconciling the terms "loving" and "father," and finally asked God to show me what it meant that He was a loving father. Step by step He led me down a path that resulted in me visiting Romania and finally understanding His comprehensive and accepting love. During my first visit to Romania He showed me that my faithless past, once confessed, was no obstacle to me serving Him in the future.

Led by Mark Walker, our German-American team consisted of 10 believers. In Craiova we were joined by Brethren believers from 2 churches. Throughout the week of ministry, we enjoyed a spirit of love, unity and common purpose that was amazing for strangers gathered from 3 nations, and shared the gospel in object lessons, personal testimonies and special music (not always as special as we wished!)
