From the moment you are born you are a slave, you are owned
respectively by the collective power brokers, the government of your country of origin,
the authorities of said government, your imposed religious leaders, your social caste; and
finally by your parents.
At the bottom of this list comes you.
Later on in life you are placed even further down this list as new
owners come into play, as you 'mature'. These are the teachers, the social workers, and as
you become older, still more usurping takes place as management, owners, shop floor staff
assume yet more of the ownership pie.
At most, all you can hope for is 2 to 3% of this pie. How does it
taste?
This ownership will last up to and beyond your death. Do you think
you can choose when, where and how you die?
What can be considered free in your life? The air that you breathe
maybe? The sun and the rain on your skin?
Even the last bastion of freedom cannot be considered unsullied. Most
people after reading the statements above will reply - "Ah, but my mind is free; I am
allowed to think what I will."
By actually stating that you are 'allowed' to think what you will
should at least go someway to show you that you are, at least somewhat aware that using
the Meme, 'allowed' shows just how much you really understand, deep, deep down that you
know you are a slave.
What you do not yet understand is that you allow this sentance to
happen. You willingly hold out your arms for the shackles, thinking you are mearly
contributing to the good of all.
It is never an easy task to say 'stop'! To change your situation.
Nobody said you have to do it alone, seek strength in the friends that you create through
life. Helping others towards liberation brings it one step closer for yourself. It would
be a very lonely place if you were the only person to taste true freedom because it would
ultimately be at the expense of everyone else. remember this when you feel need to
complain at the injustice prevalent in your life.
