Oven-Baked Pork Chops

1 envelope onion soup mix
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
3 lbs. pork chops (1-inch thick)
1 egg - well beaten
Melted margarine (optional)

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Combine onion soup mix with bread crumbs.
3. Dip chops in egg, then bread crumb mixture.
4. Lightly grease 13x9-inch baking pan.
5. Arrange chops and drizzle with melted margarine.
6. Bake uncovered 30 minutes or so, turning once.

Cook's Comments :
This is VERY good! I usually buy the de-boned chops.
