I hate trying to write descriptions of myself. How I feel about myself is never what I'm like IRL....or at least I hope not, anyways. ;) But, I suppose I could give a brief one.
Well, first of all, I'm one of the web servants here at the Poet's Corner...I get to check links, among other duties. It's a rotten job, but somebody's gotta do it. ;) j/k I love my job here. :)
Ok, on to the description....My name is Jennifer Ament (Jenn to my friends and everyone else). I'm 27 years old and I live in Rapid City, South Dakota. It's not exactly the most exciting place to live and the only thing that keeps me here, besides school, is the beauty of the surrounding area.
Speaking of school, I'm a senior in college majoring in Chemistry and I hope to graduate before I'm 30. *crossing fingers, eyes, and anything else that I could possibly cross* As for how I support myself, I work full-time for the local newspaper (we put the paper out every night).
The reasons why I write are numerous. I couldn't give you just one. Most of my writing is done when I'm hurting and I need an outlet for the pain. I'll write a ton of new stuff during these times and then I won't write anything else for a long time, sometimes years. I usually get my best ideas when I'm driving, which is irritating because I rarely have anything with me to write these ideas down on. Although, I have been trying a new style...something happy. Well, not exactly happy, just not so angry sounding all the time.
Well, I can't think of anything else to write here, so I'll go before any of you burst into tears of boredom. *grin*
