Human evolutionary theories vary. Some exist to say that humans have not evolved at all, they were placed on the earth in their present form. One common misconception is that humans evolved from apes. Heard that one? It suggests that humans have descended directly from an ancestral ape whilst they have continued in that form. The most commonly held belief is that, however, humans evolved from an ancestor that is common to all primate forms.
