Ancient Order of Spitzalod and Dakmonias

APPRENTICESHIP

In ages past one did not attain to any of the Five levels of occult magick WITHOUT FIRST PETITIONING an INITIATED Sorcerer or Sorceress to accept them as an Apprentice. It was the task of the SEEKER to search out an AUTHENTIC, INITIATED Teacher, and to take this teacher THE GIFT OF PETITIONING.

In the Old Days this gift included a potion of meat, a portion of flour, which was enough for one meal. It also included a candle, a gift of incense and finally a coin of whatever value the Seeker could afford. A poor person might give a penny, while the wealthy person would give a gold or silver coin. In giving these gifts the Seeker showed their humility and respect to the Teacher which would be essential if the Seeker were going to be able to learn Occult Magick and eventually become initiated. In presenting these gifts the Seeker also showed his or her determination to let nothing stand in the way of becoming an initiated witch or sorcerer. And for the Teacher who had accepted the gifts of the petitioning Seeker who had showed his or her acceptance for this new student.

In our day this tradition has for the most part been abandoned. Of Course, it is not practical to petition a Teacher through the mail or the Internet with a gift of meat and a portion of flour. And it would require considerable cost for the Seeker to actually come and apprentice themselves to the Teacher in person. This is due, of course, to the fact that most people are struggling to make a living or to make ends meet.

The Spitzalodian Tradition from THE ANCIENT GRIMOIRE OF SPITZALOD was re-written in 1978, which was channeled to Adept and Grand Master TomeMaster, in which, Spitzalod instructed Tomemaster as QUTH, to state within said Grimoire "THAT BY ORDERING THIS BOOK THAT THE SEEKER WOULD AUTOMATICALLY BECOME AN APPRENTICE" of the Order of Spitzalod and that the Magickal Order would REQUIRE the Seeker to complete ALL requirements that were set forth within THE ANCIENT GRIMOIRE OF SPITZALOD.

Now, After the Apprentice had purchased The Ancient Grimoire Of Spitzalod and its companion Companion, WizardQuest Course (Volume One), It is the Apprentice who is required to write to Ancient Orders of Spitzalod And Dakmonias and to request a teacher. After The Apprentice had complied with this requirement and the Order had given the Apprentice a teacher to guide and counsel him or her into the ancient mysteries of occult Magick.

This level is referred to as:

The Beginner's Level or The Level Of Apprenticeship. All witches, wizards, and sorcerers began on this level. After a very careful and though course of study and practical application of occult magick knowledge the Apprentice was deemed fit to proceed into the higher wonders of the occult magick realm on to the next level.

The Second Level of study or The Level of Witchcraft. The Apprentice did, of course, learn a great deal about occult principles, the occult laws, the occult lifestyle, interior focalization of the mind, Astral travel to the Keep of Tomes & to the Valley of Rallon while on level One. But once on Level Two the Apprentice is entrusted with ever more powerful secrets. Unfortunately, many people feel that this second level is the only level worth attaining to. On this Level of occult magick, the Apprentice are to be referred to as STUDENT, only after the Apprentice has completed his or her workbook Lessons from Volume two (Magick Quest course) and has shown to his or her teacher complete COMMITMENT and DEDICATION unto the Old Ways. At this time the student is given the opportunity to become an INITIATED member of a particular Coven, Circle, or Grove within the Orders Circle of Affiliates. It is at this level that the Teacher presents the Student with an initiation mark and ask the student to make a choice to receive and wear the Mark of The TRIAD FLAME and became a member of the Order of Spitzalod. It is upon receiving this initiation mark, and later going though the proper initiation ritual/ceremony that the student attains to the THIRD LEVEL OF OCCULT MAGICK KNOWLEDGE AND POWER.
