People Suck
Okay. I've bitched about religious hypocrites. I've talked bad about politicians. I've put down lawyers, reporters, and parents. Now, the time has come for me to whine, bitch, moan and complain about people in general. In my nineteen years on this earth, I have firmly come to the conclusion that people suck.
I am sick and tired of dealing with all the shallow, flighty, flaky, inconsiderate, and downright malicious people out there. It seems that every time I turn around, I'm hitting another wall presented by another waste of human flesh that pretends to be a "friend".
Isn't it strange how everyone seems to know exactly how you're supposed to live your life better than you? Everyone has an opinion, and they're all experts, especially if they don't follow their own advice. It's always great to get tips on how to treat men from the local slut. Oh, and it's wonderful to be told how to be a good Christian by the people who throw down and party every night, sleep around, lie, cheat and steal... but make it to church EVERY Sunday.
I personally love to be told how lazy I am from the boss who does nothing but sit on their ass, drink expensive wine and snort cocaine. And of course it's a good idea for me to stop drinking alcohol (communicated to me from an extasy addict).
Enough of that, I'm tired of going out of my way for people and getting nothing in return. It seems that the harder we try to make life easier for those around us, the more they want to make our lifes harder. Or, they just want more from us. So, if we're not doing enough, we're doing too much. Myself, I'm getting so tired of trying to figure out how much of myself I should ration out to people that I just want to cut them out all together. I'm sick of playing these stupid assed games.
So, why am I bitching? Well, I have a few requests of my visitors. Look at how you're treating the people in your life. If you find yourself giving advice to people that you're not following yourself, then shut up. You don't know how to live their life any better than they do. If you are a friend/lover who takes, takes, takes and never gives ANYTHING, then f*cking stop. Give those around you the same courtesy you'd like to have. Stop sitting on your asses and judging everyone around you unless you're prepaired to judge yourself by the same standards. If only the people around me would take this advice, I wouldn't be bitching now.
At least that's how I see it.
