Alec’s Dragons
Cassidy Melczak Alec’s dragons they rule the sky I wrote this a long time ago actually it’s the first one I wrote, unfortunately the original copy has been lost to time, I had to rewrite it from memory, and I have a very bad memory, those ?'s are the main part I forgot, which wasn't anything major, but interesting nonetheless. Note, this was written to the tune of "Greensleeves", but I don’t have that MIDI if you do please send it to me I would greatly appreciate it thanks.
The animals claimed the land below
That’s how it went for a long, long time
No animal claimed "what is mine?"
The dragons led a masterful rule
No beast claimed they were a fool
But times have changed maybe for the worst
And new beast into the world, oh no they weren’t the first
But this new beast came unto the land
And crushed the dragons under their command
But the dragons tried to stand a fight
Hoping to hold onto what it right
And the warrior humans with their might
Brought doom and darkness like a piercing night
A loosing battle the dragons fought
With them all the knowledge they’d been taught

When the humans finally won the war
Not a being was left to settle the score
As a descendant of a brutal man
I help out peacefully whenever I can
I am sorry for the dying dragons
In my mind the battle still is on the story was sad I know
It is time now for me to go
