Evergreen Grove
Cassidy Melczak Hiding back in the willows deep I wrote this because some said I was too depressing. After I wrote this she kinda looked at me weirdly... I wonder why? Another person didn't like because it was too happy, Everyone's a critic. I know about the background and not baing able to read the text, there is not much I could do. Besides it is probably better this way.
Beyond where the squirrels creep
Is the place where elves do sleep
Called Evergreen Grove
In this place the children play
Run and romp and chase all day
'Tis a place you'd like to stay

A river runs by, cool and clear
Shallow and lazy never you fear
Of the forest which the river runs near
Called Evergreen Grove
Gentle animals with help to lend
Kindness and love seem never to end
A place you'll never be without a friend
Called Evergreen Grove
Perfect place you may never see
But, always in your heart it will be
The place to go to set you free
