To Fly A Kite
Cassidy Melczak
To fly a kite is not hard to do
Not as easy to put on a shoe
Many children with kites to fly
All with a twinkle in their eye
They choose a field with room to run
The whole family can join in on the fun
They drive to the field all filled with glee
The brother Billy jumped out to shout "Whee!"
The father took his kite from its place
Sister June ran as it flew into space
Brother Billy stood in wondrous awe
At the tricks being done by his 'Pa'
The kite flew higher and higher still
While the clouds above started to spill
The family outing is sadly cut short
A car drove up; it's uncle Mort
Then uncle Mort yelled to warn
"Look out for the coming storm!"
The wind picked up with stronger gusts
The sky was soon filled thick with dust
The family all hopped into their car
Fortunately they did not have to go far
The storm soon did die down
So the family did not have to frown
The family continued on with their fun
And now sadly my tail is done
This poem has one purpose to freak people out. Now how would you do that you ask? First you have to know a little secret. Flying a kite is a very nasty slang in Spanish (I can't exactly say what or I'll get kicked off). Now consider all the things you do with a kite. It makes many sick to the stomach. I really need Lets go fly a kite midi for this page if you have one please let me have it.
