Who am I why am I?
I do not know nor care
Torn apart by forces
I do not comprehend
Many things and the few
I am an angel, a shadow
A scholar, a fighter
A skeptic, a believer
A warrior, a peacemaker
A coward, a captain
A leader, a follower
A conformist, a rebel
An enlightened romantic
And I follow many things
All opposed to my views
War and peace
Logic and emotion
Magic and science
Love and hate
I am being pulled from all sides
Trying in vain to protect
Those who I care about
Ready to explode
I try not to harm anyone
But they pull and pull
And soon I will be ripped
Shattered, no more
