This Unicorn's name is Alexandra. She lives in the land of Elysia. Although she loves it there, She plans to travel to The Valley of The Unicorns where all of her friends are.
I believe that the reason unicorns have such shiney coats is because every night they bathe in stardust. I also believe that because they bathe in stardust, they leave a trail of stars everywhere they go. It doesn't last long enough for the human eye to see so that we cannot follow them to their homes.
The most beautiful thing about unicorns and one of the main things that separates them from regular horses is their horn. Made of crystal, gold, or many other materials, they shine in day or night time. Different kinds of unicorns have different kinds of horns. Usually, they are in a twisted shape sprouting out from the forehead.
Unicorns' horns are used for many things. I believe that because unicorns are peacful creatures, they do not use their horns to harm anyone. Although many different unicorns can perform different actions, I think that some unicorns can fly. How can a unicorn fly without wings? They use their horn. Their horn plays music as they use it to lift them up and guide them through the sky. This music is not just used for flight, but it is a form of communication between unicorns. The music played is not just any kind of music but a sweet lulling sound which can put you to sleep. Which is another way unicorns avoid from being seen. Whenever they are caught by a human they just play music to lull them to sleep and when they wake up... everything seems like a dream.
Unicorns are very loving and caring. In a family, the father protects his mate and their children. He also teaches the young male unicorn how to be a good father when he grows up. The mother cares for the children as all mothers do. She especially takes care of the young female unicorn and teaches her how to fly and be loving mother. The children play in the valleys and learn from their parents. Family is very cherished among the unicorns.
