I was running through an old vegetarian

cook-book (Laurel's Kitchen-1976 edition) and found a recipe for vegetarian dog-food, enjoy! :)

2 tbsp oil (presumably cooking)

1 cooked egg

2 cups cooked vegetables, blended unles they are already very soft

1 tbsp nutritional yeast

1 cup milk

bread-loaf ends and left-overs from cooked cereals and beans

Like I said it's pretty old, but according to the author her dogs like it and enjoy many positive effects IE: shiny coat, cleaner teeth etc. Let your pets size and activity determine the size of the portion- about 2 quarts a day of this stuff will feed an active 75 pound dog, for example.
