Hello buyers and collectors. We have just unearthed quite a few items they we had forgotten were in our collection. Mostly excellent condition cast iron banks, old tin wind ups, other items of tin or cast iron, and other cap guns. As most of you know, these were collected well over 50 years ago and lovingly stored until now. Remember, most of these items are rare and hard to find.

WORLD WAR II SYMBOLIC STATUE

EAGLE PERCHES ON TOP OF THE NAZI SWASTICA W/ A MARBLE BASE.

A RARE HARD TO FIND PIECE.

As pictured in the accompanying photos this vintage statue is in excellent condition. First I will describe to the best of my ability the statue, then I will tell you about the specific conditions. This is a rare World War II statue. This statue is so rare because of the Nazi Swastica that is cast on it. The Swastica was worn by the Germans in World War II. This statue is made of heavy metal and has been cast into an Eagle that is perched on top of a Swastica inside a wreath. The eagle and wreath are mounted on top of two pieces of marble, the statue is held together by a long screw that is tighted from the bottom to secure the the pieces together. The eagle and swastica wreath have a goldish finish, it is a bout 95% original, about 5% of the finish is wearing off to uncover a silverish finish. The eagle and the wreath seem to be one piece of casted metal. The marble base is actually two pieces of marble that sit on top of one another. The entire statue is 8 3/4 inches high and 5 inches wide at the widest point. The marble is in excellent condition, there are some chips at the corners and edges, but overall excellent. The screw at the bottom of the statue that holds the pieces together does need to be tightened, but can easily be done with the right tool. This statue could have very well sat on the desk of some high German officer. Having the swastika on this piece alone makes it a rare piece. What a great present this would make for the World War II collector. Shipping and insurance $15 for this item.
