On a small side street in a forgotten town, a ghoulish assortment of beings and, well, un-beings gathered to prepare the arrival of The Master.
While we cannot reveal the details of that event, we can show a glimpse of that day on October 31, 1997. To see the photos, click on the underlined words in blood red.
Unwise visitors found a moonlit path lit by empty skulls, each containing a burning candle. They were met outside the gate by one known as Ddanwellyan (Most of us didn't know how to pronounce his name, so we called him "Wolfy.")
Then a creaking gate opened by itself, and guests were led inside by The Guardian of Skull Cottage.
Once inside, they were greeted by Wizard Lea and Binky the WonderSkull. After showing them great items of mystical powers that cannot be now revealed, The Guardian led through a narrow walk, past a fishing skeleton, and past The Master, whose image is too terrible to show here.
Next they walked past a graveyard with headstones and an Empty Grave. Or was it really Empty?
Then they were led through bushes filled with glowing eyes, and entered into the laboratory of Dr. Sinister Craven, who showed them monstrous dainties such as This and That. But most horrifying of all in lab was Dr. Sinister Craven himself!
Many ran out of the lab in terror, never to return again. But some never left the lab. What happened to them? I cannot say. I dare not!
