The Canadian Federation of Genealogical and Family History Societies (CanFed) is the umbrella organization for the exchange of information between these societies. CanFed members are invited to share current issues, concerns and information on heritage projects.
It has been suggested that access to the 1911 census be denied for security/privacy reasons, but this must be approved by Parliament. The majority of MPs are undecided on this issue. Writing letters does make a difference!
