The NJROTC Progam at Euclid High School was founded in 1994. The unit has received man honors and distinctions in it's six years of existance. The unit received the c-net unit award in 1996 & 1997, and the National Naval Honor Unit award in 1998 & 1999. This unit has been ranked the #1 NJROTC unit in the state of Ohio in 1998 & 1999.

Euclid also has particpated in many community service activities, such as; "MDA Summer Camp", "MDA Jerry Lewis telethon", "Toys for Tots", "MS Walk-a-thon", and "Habitats for Humanity." During the 1998-1999 school year this unit had 3,000+ hours of community service, and will begin the 1999-2000 school year with 2000+ hours of community service, with it's summer projects.

Not only does the unit shine, but so do it's cadets as well. Valerie VanHo, Leah Cherne, Mike Hartson, and Markus Garlauskus all former cadets, received four year Army, Navy, and Marine Corp. "ROTC Scholarships". Valerie VanHo and Rachel Dixon received "Honor Cadet" the highest honor a cadet can receive from "Leadership Academy". Also during the 1998-1999 Euclid swept school wide American Legion Americanism tests, with 3 students winning in district competion.
