This area of The Writers' Outlet is intended to be updated, in effect, by you. I'm sure your brain is urgently whispering to your fingers right now, telling them to start typing and churn out a literary masterpiece. I know you've got it in you--so let it out!

No time to create a thoroughly thought-out, precisely constructed story, but yearning to write anyway? No problem! We've got several basic storylines for you to sink your teeth into and take off with! The only stipulations are:

• Try to follow what's already been written, and adhere to it as best as possible.
• Be serious. Humor is perfectly fine, but crude misuse of the system is not...though I doubt I really have to worry about anyone abusing it.
• Have fun! After all, that's the whole point! And whatever you do, don't be shy. Unless you want to include your name, no one will ever know who you are, so get typing!

I've provided a short background for each genre's basic scenerio...I'm not sure whether you'd want more or not. Let me know what you think of this whole thing!
