Are You In Control Of Your Life?
Are you in control of your own mind, your own life? Or are you easily influenced and do what everyone else wants you to? If you look back over your life you will find that you have been controlled and moulded since birth. From ages 7 to 16 we are controlled at school.I don’t mean by learning, but by wanting and having to be like everybody else. Rules of behaviour, religious training, the acceptable code of existence, in other words brainwashing life today we have censoring of the news, books and movies. Politics and religious control are the strongest and the most effective way of keeping us in line.
Since the age when we can observe and take in what is going on around us we are being conditioned, moulded and shaped for our future role of acceptable and normal adulthood. If we venture out of this tight circle of acceptance we are considered strange or different, we are looked down on.
The psychic has always been hidden and put down as something evil and not normal, God fearing people. Psychic’s worship the devil we are told only evil or demon possessed people can contact the spirit world or read the future. Well lets hope that we can change some of these incredibly ignorant ways of thinking. This type of brainwashing started way back when the church wanted control over people. But also they did not understand the psychic and were afraid. People always fear what they don’t understand.
You see the influences that are around you and your whole life. Even now with the advertising on television. Do you go out and buy something because an advert on television said that it was the best. We must learn to trust our own judgement and be in control or our own minds. Do you think you can’t cope with life, can’t make enough money, everything goes wrong and makes you depressed.
Well just think a minute, are you modelling your life on obtaining the things that you think are necessary to be successful? Or to be a complete person. Who made these standards and rules? Probably you will come to the conclusion that advertising has made you feel all these things are necessary to be happy. How much of life is influenced by what other people have, what they are wearing or how they look. Sometimes when you really sit down and think about it-Are you really being yourself or trying to be someone else. The person you or someone else thinks you should be. Do you strive your whole life to be someone other then yourself?
You should stand back and look at yourself and really decide what it is the most important in your life, what really makes you happy?
Be content with what you are. Love yourself and your body, be kind to yourself. You are a person in your own right. You don’t have to conform to everyone else’s rules and regulations.. BE YOURSELF. Find yourself and like the person you really are. You may find a good friend there, give yourself a chance...
Now the first step towards positive thinking. Every night before you go to sleep, say to yourself-”When I wake in the morning I am going to be happy, everything has a bright side and I am going to find it..”
You see you have conditioned your subconscious that you are not completely happy with the way things are, that you don’t own enough or that you don’ look the way you want to. So now you have re-condition your subconscious, that from now on you are going to strive to become positive, happy and finding the really important things in life. This takes time, you need to feed positive thoughts into the old subconscious day by day. And in time you will find that life really isn’t bad, you cope better with things, you appreciate that you do not need to confrom to the way everyone else is , you are yourself and that is good enough.
