COSMIC CREATION ~ AHIH

Our solar system is one of seven systems composing the primary chakras of a cosmic entity Who we know by the appellation 'The One Of Whom Naught May Be Said'. Within that supreme being our system is the physical expression of His heart chakra, and therefore is a cosmic focus for the energy of the 2nd ray, or love-wisdom. Thus, the 2nd ray is the fundamental ray underlying and governing our solar system.

When our solar logos willed to extend His being into the cosmic physical plane, He did so by the universal Law of Three. This is a procedure used by all true creators from God to man. It is described by the qabalistic formula AHI (Aleph-Ha-Yod) or AHIH2 (Aleph-Ha-Yod-Ha2) meaning 'I exist' or 'I am'.

Note. For information regarding the elemental attributions (Fire-Earth-Air-Water) see the article, The Wheel of the Law. The notation H2 that appears throughout these articles is used to indicate the second Ha in the formula AHIH.

[A (Aleph): SPIRIT. The unmanifest creator overseeing the whole procedure; operating from the
'inner' planes.]

H (Ha): FORM. The first 'manifest' creative action involves the placing of a limitation upon the form principle (H,Ha); the delineation of a boundary within which the creator will work. The creator develops and nurtures the form principle until it finally achieves a condition amenable to the influx of his life-giving creative essence, or consciousness.

This initial process naturally defines the parameters of the creation and has its correspondence with the first part of the life of a human-being ~ the first cycle of Saturn, up to the age of 28 (approx.). Up until that time the emphasis is upon our (more or less selective) absorption and collation of information (and the learning of practical skills) from the environment. This information supplies the substance, and forms the foundation for the creative activity of the second cycle (i.e. I,Yod).

I (Yod): CONSCIOUSNESS. During stage two the creator infuses the material he has prepared, with his own consciousness. In other words, he allows his imagination to play within the framework of assimilated knowledge and experience that he has previously constructed. In the case of the solar logos, He injects the power of His creative consciousness into the living environment ~ the community of microcosmic forms He has prepared for His habitation. In the life of a human-being, this stage corresponds with the second 28 year cycle of Saturn, from the age of 28 to 56 (approx.). It is a time of personal creative endeavour as we apply our own vibration (or creative essence) to our chosen field of activity, study or work.

A (Aleph): SPIRIT. The unseen creator finally manifests his original purpose during the third stage of the Law of Three. The consciously creative creatures of the solar creation unite themselves towards the supreme purpose of the solar logos. It is during the third 28 year Saturn cycle (from the age of 56 to 84 approx.) that a human-being becomes truly aware (if he has successfully applied the Law of Three) of the purpose of his incarnation. The spontaneous pulses of divine inspiration gradually begin to reveal an underlying theme, a singular purpose to which they all are allied, and towards the fulfilment of which the whole life-force becomes consciously directed. And so, he passionately and lovingly concentrates his life energies towards the ultimate and inevitable consummation for which he had been unconsciously preparing himself for his whole life.

Before we proceed, it is important to note that the cosmic physical plane consists of what we, as human-beings, consider to be the seven major planes of the universe. They are in fact the seven subplanes of the 'lowest' cosmic plane ~ the cosmic physical plane. We name them as follows:

1) Adi (pure spirit)
2) Monadic (love-wisdom)
3) Atma (intelligent purpose)
4) Buddhi (or the intuitive plane)
5) Manas (or the mental plane)
6) Astral (the plane of desires)
7) Etheric (or physical plane)

The even numbered planes are expressive of the nature of love, the odd numbers exhibit the qualities of will.

In other articles we have viewed the qabalistic Tree of Life from a microcosmic perspective, where the first three sephiroth are taken to symbolise the three elements of a human monad ~ a divine atom that exists on the second, or monadic plane. The first plane is not included in that variation of the Tree diagram. We shall now examine the Tree from a macrocosmic vantage point. (See Figure 1.)

Note. The colours used in the Tree of Life diagram in the figure below are the standard sephirothic colours (Queen scale). The colours used in the other illustrations portray the elemental attributions of AHIH.

When the cosmic creative process began, the solar logos over-shadowed a region of etheric space. From His high place He supervised the evolution of the form principle until a form adequate to his purposes emerged. The solar system with its attendant and profuse variety of natural life-forms was born. This process occurred during what we call the first solar cycle, in a past incomprehensibly distant. The human form was chief among the forms relatively perfected during that time.

We are now well within the second solar cycle which corresponds with Yod (I) of the AHI formula. At the commencement of the present cycle the logos permeated the prepared 'physical' substance of the solar system with His creative essence, thereby initiating a current of creative activity and consciousness development within His embodiment ~ our solar system.

Imagine a beam of white light that emanates from the being of the solar logos and pierces the prism of 'matter' that is the solar system. In other words, it flows from the plane of adi and enters the plane of atma. The beam is then diffracted into seven subsidiary rays (or vortices) of energy which arise upon the monadic plane. Seven major groups of monads were thus conformed and these compose the seven chakras of the solar logos. Thus did the seven 'Heavenly Men' (planetary logoi) come into being. (See Figure 2.)

So, the primary (or solar) ray of our solar system ~ the vibration which forms the very basis of its existence ~ is the 2nd ray of love-wisdom. Every monad, every elemental unit or atom that has originated within the body of the solar logos is fundamentally coloured by the 2nd ray.

As the logos manifested upon the cosmic physical plane, His primary energy was diffracted (by the form principle) into seven secondary forces and thus were formed His seven chakras ~ the seven Heavenly Men. Therefore, every human monad is keyed to the vibration of one of the seven secondary (or 'planetary') rays of the system and thus also, one of the planetary logoi.

A human monad is the creative source of the human expression within the cosmic physical plane. They are located on the second, or monadic plane. They form a collective creative intelligence, cooperating in love and wisdom in order to manifest the divine purpose of the planetary logoi and therefore, ultimately, that of the solar logos.

The chart included in Figure 1 divides the seven planes into four groups of four. It is a division that's based on the formula AHIH2 where the second 'H' (H2) appended to the equation symbolises the lowest conscious manifestation of the creator, be he God or man. The final 'Ha' is a vital component of the creative formula because following the emergence of consciousness (I,Yod) within an organised form (initial H,Ha), as described by the sub-formula AHI, the principle of consciousness (I,Yod) itself begins to exert its own creative influence upon the form principle ~ hence the final H of AHIH. The activity of Yod (I) is guided by its link with the spirit principle (A,Aleph).

Figure 3 demonstrates the use of the AHIH formula by the solar logos. It can be seen that His lowest conscious expression exists on the plane of buddhi. For the solar logos, His manifestation on the buddhic plane stands in the same relative position as the etheric/physical body does for man. The human arrangement of the AHIH formula is as follows:

A (Spirit): Buddhic plane
H (Form): Astral plane
I (Consciousness): Mental plane
H2 (Conscious Form):Etheric/physical plane

The basic structure of Figure 3 remains the same for all four creative beings ~ Man, Ascended Man, Planetary Logos and Solar Logos ~ but the four planes assigned to the terms of the formula change in each case.

We know that there is a flow of 'conscious' creative energy that issues from Yod (I) to the final Ha (H2) of AHIH2, but there is also a current of 'unconscious' evolutionary forces flowing from the initial Ha (H) to the final Ha. This latter current vivifies the form principle, pushing it onwards towards its natural perfection or completion. It is the 'force of Nature'. On the other hand, the creative influx from Yod (I) works to consciously harness the form principle, to build the form into a shape envisioned by the creator. Both currents originate from the creative spirit of Aleph (A) but travel in opposite directions around the AHIH circuit. (See Figure 3.)

For a planetary logos the AHIH formula appears thus:

A (Spirit): Monadic plane
H (Form): Buddhic plane
I (Consciousness): Atmic plane
H2 (Conscious Form): Mental plane

Here we see the final conscious manifestation of a Heavenly Man, His 'physical' form, existing upon the mental plane. The conscious 'cells' of His body are in fact the 'causal bodies', the golden lotuses, of us human-beings. (See article, The Golden Lotus.) The human expression on the abstract mental plane, the golden lotus, is a cell belonging to one of the seven centres in the body of a planetary logos. The flow of these 'cells' between the chakras of a planetary logos, and between the planetary logoi of our and other solar systems, determines the physical system and planet into which a human soul will incarnate.

A human-being therefore, has another ray quality to colour his personal expression ~ a soul ray. It pertains to the further subdivision of one of the seven planetary rays. Therefore, the picture so far looks like this:

Systemic Ray (applies to all beings): 2nd ray of love-wisdom
Planetary Ray (colouring human monad): One of seven rays
Group Ray (colouring human soul): One of 49 rays (7x7)

There are thus 49 major groups or ashrams within our solar system ~ each one presided over by a master. They exist upon the buddhic plane wherein the creative principle of ascended man is located (see below). Therein the initiates and disciples are dedicated to the evolution of the 'matter' of the mental plane ~ to the unfoldment of the souls (i.e. mental/causal bodies) of all human-beings. Which brings us to the AHIH formula in relation to ascended man:

A (Spirit): Atmic plane
H (Form): Mental plane
I (Consciousness): Buddhic plane
H2 (Conscious Form): Astral plane

As regards an ascended human-being, his creative consciousness is centred on the buddhic plane, where he joins together with his fellows in the work of planetary/human evolution. It is towards this unified planetary purpose that his individual creative energies are directed. This is to be understood in terms of the overlapping of the ascended man's AHIH with the overshadowing planetary AHIH. It will be noticed that the evolutionary forces of the planetary 'initial Ha' (H) overlap (and therefore, guide) the creative energies of the ascended man's Yod (I) ~ both currents emanate from the buddhic (4th) plane but one is of a higher order than the other. The lesser (i.e. Yod of ascended man) falls under the dominion of the greater (i.e. initial Ha of planetary logos). Here, indeed, is much food for deep and prolonged meditation! (See Figure 4.)

To end on a less complicated note, it can be seen in the AHIH formula for ascended man that he has released himself from the etheric/physical plane and now finds his 'physical' consciousness (H2) focussed on the astral plane (plane VI). This is symbolic of the necessary shift that we are experiencing into the next higher dimension.

With the ascension there is also a shift in the focus of our creative activity (I,Yod) ~ a movement from the mental plane to the buddhic (or intuitional) plane. The fourth, or buddhic plane is of great significance in our universe because it is the plane of at-one-ment wherein all four creators meet in communion and cooperation; wherein a direct channel of communication exists from the lowest (Man) to the highest (Solar Logos); and where the energy of love-wisdom (the Christ-force) permeates all. (See Figure 4.)
