Second Annual Music Competition

Is tentatively scheduled for the first Friday night of Pennsic.

Please take special note - if you are superstitious, this years competition will fall on FRIDAY THE 13th (of August).

Details will be updated as they are cleared through the pub staff.

We are still planning on the same number of prizes, categories, and judges - with a revised judging system to help speed things up.

get your music ready and tune those instruments - it's not that far away.

I would like to thank all those who came in support of the performers to make it a Smashing success!

My special thanks to our three anonymous judges, whom with out, it could not have been done.

And a final vote of thanks to the performers. It was the quality of the performers that took the judges so long to decide on the following winners. (If there is a mistake here, e-mail me - I'm waiting for my list to come back):

All prizes bear the Chalkman name, and/or emblem and are approved by the pub staff prior to the competition. "Chalkman in the Key of "D"" is an unregistered trademark of the Chalkman Music Competition, and any reproductions without approval will be just cause for me to make fun of you behind your back and laugh in your face.

Plans are Starting for next years Competition, So check back for information on how you too can enter. And please remember - this competition is not to see who is better - but to bring more good music into the Chalkman Pub.
