           You've watched me mature into a woman
              Sharing my laughter and my tears~
Often I remember and smile about
        The wise things you have taught me;
          My strengths and achievements are
             A mirror image of your deity~
 

Dear father and my friend
         The guardian God blessed me with;
           If I live to match your grandeur
             I shall then be worthy of your gift~
A father has the capacity
         To love his children with discipline;
           He stands to applaud our efforts
              Even if we didn't win~
Dad I hope you know how much
         I love you and hold you dear;
           Distance and death shall never part us
             I will eternally keep you  near~
