By the time I was 10 years old, three of the men I most admired had died by assassination: Civil Rights leader, Martin Luther King, President John F. Kennedy, and his brother Senator Robert Kennedy, known affectionately as Bobby.
Soon afterwards, a song called "Abraham, Martin, and John" hit radio airwaves. It expressed a nation's sadness at the loss of three great men. Their deaths affected me deeply and those feelings come flooding back each time I hear the song.
In fact, it was this very song which inspired me to create this website which I named after two of the men mentioned in the song title, Abraham (Lincoln) and John (F. Kennedy).
