In pagan cosmic view, the supreme creative polarity is that of the Goddess, and God principles, for without polarity, from divinity downwards, there can be no manifestation."As above, so below."

The Goddess and God are important, and should be equally revered. There should be balance. We are all made up of both masculine and feminie attributes.

The Goddess-Great Moon Goddess, she is the great female trinity of Maiden, Mother, and Crone. The Goddess is reflected in three phases of the moon.

1. The Maiden-The crescent moon, virginal and delicate, grows stronger and brighter each night, appearing higher, and higher in the sky as it comes to greater fullness..

She resides over the hunting rituals.

2. The Mother-the full moon, when the night sky is flooded with light, it's represented as a mother Goddess of the hunt also becomesthe Queen of the harvest.

3.The Crone-She holds her power, and she is powerfull. She is and elder. She is the wise old Crone. Like the wanning moon her body shrinks, her energies wane, she disappears into the dark night of death, just as the moon disappears for three dark nighs.

We see the God in the sun, without the sun we can not exist. The God is also tender of the wild animals. He is sometimes seen wearing horns on his head symbolizing his connection with these wild animals. Gods domain include forest, deserts,and mountains. The God is the fully ripened harvest.
