Branchville Cemetery

You decide to check out the cemetery.  After all, a cemetery has the history of many families, as well as a town.  Actually, you believe the cover-up extends to the grave (and graveyard) but you don't dare pass up this possibility!

As you wander through the large cemetery, you notice a sizable section with small plain unmarked stones.  They are arranged in a straight line, and the whole section is surrounded by "No Tresspassing" signs.  As you look, you notice they're too close together to be actual graves.  As you attempt to guess how many there are, you see that one has something engraved on it.  It's in the center, so you walk carefully through them to get to it.

As you're getting closer, you hear someone calling; "Hey you!".  You turn around to see an older gentleman in faded overalls.  He warns you to stay out of that section because there's newly sown grass in there.

You try to argue with him, seeing that the grass is thick and well planted, but as he scolds you and goes on about planting more to keep it full and thick, you realize he's not going to allow you the chance to get to the center.  You slowly turn around to leave, and he lectures you the whole way to your car.

You drive away with a shrug.  Before he'd called to you, you saw the engraving on the stone... "1963"

I want to go back to the map
I'm finished and scared, get me out of here! 1
