Does this repond sounds familiar to you? When your parents asked you to help him/her, do you say that you are busy, not free or any other excuses? If you never, then I should say congrtualations to you because you honour your parents well. If you do say that, here are some advice to you.
Very often we never honour our parents well. Why? Is it because familiarity breeds hatred? Probably, yes. Or could it be that we are just lazy? That is also possible.
Why is it so important to honour our parents well? It is simply because they are the ones who gave life to us and also they are the ones who give us care, love and all our essnetial needs. Other than that, parents teach us what is right and wrong for the sake of love. Though sometimes our parents may seem to be angry towards us when we make a mistake, it doesn't mean they hate us. It means they care for us, love us and want us to be a better person.
Sometimes when we speak to your parents, we tend to speak rudely while talking to our superiors, we tend to speak politely. That is one sign of not honouring our parents well. This is not the way it suppose to be. We need to honour our parents well by speaking politely to them.
There are some parents who do not treat their children well and when their children grow up, they breed hatred towards them and at the same time the parents want to ask forgiveness from their children. Well... In this case, we must forgive our parents because in this whole wide world, we have only one mother and one father. Besides, there is totally no way to sever our relationship with them. Blood is thicker than water.
We must learn to forgive our parents when our parents make some mistakes. For all we know, we are only humans who aren't perfect at all. Another words, we are fallible. To err is human, to forgive is divine.
Lastly I would like to say, treat your parents well. Don't hate them if they really make some mistakes. They are only humans and not God.
