Sweet Dream
I dreamt one night, that the Savior,
Was knocking upon my front door.
I opened the door to let Him in,
But He was not there any more.

Fear grasped my heart in its clutches,
Had I waited to long to respond?
Was it to late to invite Him in?
Had He given up on me, and was gone?

As my heart turned to ice, and tears filled my eyes,
I slowly closed the door.
I walked back into the room, with my head hanging low,
As tears of sorrow fell to the floor.

I wept bitter tears for the chance I had lost,
For my foolish and stupid mistake.
The thought that Jesus had left me,
Was more than I could take.

Then I felt a hand upon my shoulder,
And I heard a sweet voice in my ear.
For Jesus was standing beside me,
And He said, "I will always be here."

"My child", He said in a comforting voice,
"Nothing could drive me away,"
"You opened the door to let Me in,"
"By your side I will always stay."

He said, "No power on earth can pull us apart,"
"Your safe from Satan and hell,"
"When the time comes to carry you home,"
"With Me in paradise, you will dwell."

Tears of sorrow became tears of joy,
The ice in my heart turned to fire.
Peace and joy flooded my soul,
As He lifted me higher and higher.

When I awoke from this wonderful dream,
I felt like a brand new man,
I could sense the presence of my Lord and Savior,
I could feel the touch of His hand.

I dropped to my knees beside my bed,
Bowed my head and asked Christ in prayer,
To save my soul and come into my heart,
And to always forever stay there.

Now my life has new meaning,
I'm happier than I have ever been,
For now I know, That He loves me so,
That He forgives me of my sins.

I thank Jesus Christ each and every day,
For setting my poor soul free,
I thank Him for knocking upon my door,
And for not giving up on me.

I'm Not Worthy

I'm not worthy of one precious drop,
Of the Blood He shed for me.
I'm not worthy of the sacrifice,
That He made at Calvary.

I'm not worthy of the love He's shown,
In dying for my sins.
I'm not worthy of forgiveness,
For each time I sin again.

I'm not worthy of the Grace Divine,
It took to save my soul.
I'm not worthy of the joy and peace,
That my sinful heart now knows.

I'm not worthy of the suffering,
That He endured upon the cross.
I'm not worthy of the price He paid,
I'm not worthy of the cost.

I'm not worthy of one single time,
That He's helped me in my life.
I'm not worthy of His efforts,
To remove my pain and strife.

I'm not worthy of the blessings,
That He sends to me each day.
I'm not worthy of His kindness,
I'm not worthy, there's no way.

I'm not worthy of His fellowship,
Or His presence by my side.
I'm not worthy of the Holy Ghost,
Who is my constant guide.

I'm not worthy to call upon his name,
Or of His Love and Care.
I'm not worthy of His kind attention,
Or of each answered Prayer.

I'm not worthy of Salvation,
Or of the Lord's Mercy,
I'm not worthy, but I thank God,
That He found some worth in me.

The Valley Of The Shadow
As we walk through this life of joys and sorrow,
We glimpse the valley of the shadow of Death,
Especially when a friend or loved one,
Draws their last mortal breath,

Death is a part of living,
And something we all must face,
We all start to die from the moment we are born,
The result of sin in the human race.

Thoughts of the valley of the shadow of death,
Strikes fear in the hearts of men,
They make men break out in a cold, cold sweat,
They make men cower and cringe.

We don't like to think about dying,
We feel that it is an end,
When in truth it is but a doorway,
To a new life for us to began.

What type of new life it will be,
Is up to us to decide,
Everlasting torment in the flames of hell,
Or everlasting paradise at the Savior's side.

Sin began with Adam and Eve,
Death is that sin's costly price,
Though sin begins at the moment of birth,
It ends with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus was sent from our Father above,
To be born unto mortal men,
To die on the cross at Calvary,
For His blood to wash away all our sins.

He walked through the valley of the shadow of death,
So that by His death we might be saved,
But the darkness of the shadow could not hold Him,
For He rose up again from the grave.

He walked again among the living,
As proof of His power and might,
To show that the shadows of the valley,
Succumb to His everlasting light.

If we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior,
He will be our light, and our guide,
And when we enter the valley of the shadow of death,
He will be right by our side.

He will hold our hands, and guide us home,
To heavens crystal sea shore,
Where in His love, power and grace,
We will live forever more.

I Hear The Angels Weep
When a child cries out in hunger,
His pain too great to sleep,
When pain is caused by others' greed,
I hear the angels weep.

When a child feels he is not loved,
And pain flows swift and deep,
When a child knows not our Lord above,
I hear the angels weep.

When a child can see no other way,
But to take that final leap,
To end their young and precious life,
I hear the angels weep.

When a child has been aborted,
A child no one wants to keep,
When another life is taken,
I hear the angels weep.

When a child dies a needless death,
Abuse induced eternal sleep,
Loud and long, in mournful song,
I hear the angels weep.

When a child was born unto this world,
The sins of man to reap,
The day He hung upon the cross,
I heard the angels weep.

Marriage
The start of a brand new family,
Is like the dawn of a brand new day,
With hopes and dreams and promises,
Of what may come your way.

Some problems in life will give you trouble,
And make you very sad,
But bare them together,
Share them together,
And you'll see their not so bad.

Now you've stood before the Lord,
Took your vows hand in hand
And became of one Heart,
One mind,
And one soul,
In God's union of woman and man.

Now start your walk through life together,
Walk it side by side,
And always remember,
A home of love,
Is a home where God abides.
