Another Woman

Sam had been in a steady relationship for nearly three years. He was so in love with his girlfriend, Bianca, and they were sure that they would marry. It was just a matter of circumstance that they could not. And so time kept marching on, and they were still not wed. Sam was quite sure that this was the girl he would marry one, and he was quite happy with the idea. However, there was one thing that grieved him. Bianca, while perfect in every other respect, was unbelievably skinny! Sam could see her ribs when she was topless. He could make out the shape of her knee and shin bones. Her fingers were like sticks of chalk. He liked slim women, but she was skeletal!

One day, however, he bumped into an old girlfriend while wandering through town. Now this girl wasn't skinny, and she wasn't fat. She was just perfect! They began to talk and reminisce over coffee. She missed him. He began to want her again. They stayed together all day, and both were dreading the moment they might part ways. It was arranged that they would meet again. And so they did, and without Bianca's knowledge, they began to have an affair. Sam, who had not been sexually involved with his ex-girlfriend, Susan when they were first going out, now found great pleasure in her perfect body. Time went on, and it was just a matter of time before Bianca found out. And she did. Bianca discovered Susan's purse, which had been carelessly left in Sam's car glovebox. Within it there was a photo of Sam and Susan. Sam confessed, and the relationship was broken off. And while Bianca was distraught and heart broken, Sam had Susan to fall back on. He spent many weeks of guilt in the company of Susan, but this eventually left him. Susan did seem to be perfect. She was bright and happy all the time, she was a great boost to Sam's confidence, and she had a knock out body. Sam felt that this could easily lead to marriage if he played his cards right. However, there was one thing that grieved him. Susan could spend money like no one he had ever come across. She never had any money of her own, because it had been spent within two days of receiving it. She was always asking for loans, which she could never pay back. Sam knew that marriage with Susan would be disaster. As much as it hurt both him and Susan, he did what he had to do and ended the relationship. Alone and feeling very foolish, he went back to Bianca. But she would not take him back. And so three individuals are rendered heart broken and lonely, all thanks to the wanton desires of a man who was never satisfied.
